Zones are drawn on a map and split into a grid of search cells, so every cell and business type gets its own search and results outside the area are discarded. For each business the app collects its profile and up to 20 reviews sorted by date, and works out whether it is new (recently opened, few or very recent reviews, or first seen on a re-scan) and whether it is still active.
A rule-based classifier gives every business a 0–100 prospect score: no website (or a "website" that is just Instagram, Facebook or Wix), priority business types, activity, size, being new and pain points mentioned in reviews such as bookings, orders, card payments, invoicing, delays or unanswered phones. Each score lists its reasons and the sales opportunities it suggests.
Re-scanning the same zones keeps a history per scan and surfaces new businesses and new reviews since the last run. Results can be filtered, annotated with a sales status and notes, and exported to CSV for Excel. Data comes from Google Maps in an isolated Electron window or from the official Google Places API, and the core logic (classifier, dates, zones, grid, CSV) is covered by tests.
