AI Sales Chatbot

The bot follows the store's own sales script: it greets the customer, figures out what they need, recommends products from the live catalog with real prices and stock, builds the cart with payment and delivery options, and generates a Mercado Pago payment link. When Mercado Pago confirms the payment the order is marked as paid and the customer is notified. It also follows up once on abandoned purchases, understands voice notes (transcribed with Whisper) and hands the conversation to a human when needed.

Trust is built into the pipeline: totals, discounts, installment surcharges and shipping are calculated by the system, not by the AI, and every price or percentage in an outgoing message is checked against the catalog before it is sent. Payments are never taken at the customer's word; they are verified against Mercado Pago for the right order and amount, and refunds or chargebacks are flagged in the dashboard. Moderation rules, per-customer rate limits and opt-out detection keep costs and abuse under control.

A responsive dashboard lets the team see every conversation, take over and hand back to the bot, track payments, approve AI-drafted proactive messages, edit the sales script with versioning and a test chat, and measure the conversion funnel per script version. The project is a Turborepo monorepo with a NestJS + Prisma + PostgreSQL API, a Lit web-component chat widget and dashboard, and is deployed on Render.
